How they struggle on those wobbly legs. Compelled to move, they strike out. Over and over again, they try. Never losing faith, never giving up.
Grounding - Article 1
Once we’ve spent some time working with the Foundational Method of Grounding we might be asking:
“OK, I’m standing on the ground, so now what?”
Centering - Article 1
Remember our babies who are learning to walk?
They have the drive. They have the desire. What do you suppose is the most important thing they are missing?

Have you ever observed a group of people practicing Tai Chi? Did it seem as though some of them moved more freely, yet more consciously? More in harmony with their body and the movements they were performing?

Gravity is always pulling. We are always pushing back.
Awareness of this constant interplay is extremely important. We can't expect to move gracefully and efficiently without a healthy and secure relationship to our planet and its gravity.

In the last article we discussed grounding and our connection to the attraction of gravity. With this in mind, we can look more closely into the Method of Centering.

While many of the ideas we have examined are complex and dynamic, perhaps none is as multidimensional as balance.
